“Before I Let Go” is the type of celebratory, feel good anthem that I haven’t heard in a while, and it’s got a Cameo “Candy” sample too… not bad for a documentary bonus track.
What caught me off guard the most about this song was that It was produced by Tay Keith… yes, the same Tay Keith that produced “Look Alive”… yes, the same Tay Keith that produced “Sicko Mode”… yes, the same Tay Keith that shouldn’t have any business making such an upbeat song with Beyoncé… thank you Tay Keith, we appreciate you stepping out of your lane for this one.
