While the saying ‘styles make fights’ is typically reserved for boxing, the same good be said about impactful conversations. Michael B Jordan and Jonathan Majors are currently reaping the rewards of their tireless dedication to their craft; dominating box-office, magazine covers and what is likely to be a fruitful run of awards. However, even they sometimes wonder where there blessings have come from and navigate emotions that are intrinsically linked to success in the Black community; namely survivor’s guilt.
Despite getting in the shape of their lives for Creed 3, neither of them have ever looked as strong as they did during these precious moments of vulnerability. Hopefully their openness will spark more conversations about mental health amongst Black men and how we can support each other.
